Wren Petal Ink

Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 31, 2026

This policy explains how Wren Petal Studios LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company ("Wren Petal Studios," "we," "us"), handles information in our apps and games (the "Games") and on our website wrenpetalstudios.com (the "Website"). Wren Petal Studios LLC is the company responsible for the Games and the Website.

The short version for parents

1. Information our Games collect

None. The Games do not ask for, collect, or send us names, email addresses, phone numbers, photos, voice recordings, location, contacts, device identifiers (such as advertising IDs), or any other personal information. The Games do not include advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, social media, or other third-party software development kits (SDKs) that collect data.

2. Progress saved on your device

Things like game progress, unlocked levels, and settings are stored locally on your device so your child can pick up where they left off. This information stays on the device and is not sent to us or anyone else. Deleting the Game or clearing its app data removes it.

3. In-app purchases

Some content may be offered as an optional in-app purchase. Before any purchase screen opens, an adult must complete a parent gate. Purchases are processed entirely by Google Play Billing. Google handles your payment details and purchase records under the Google Privacy Policy and Google Play terms. We do not receive or store your payment card or billing information. To restore purchases, Google Play tells the Game which items your Google account owns. We do not keep a copy.

Refunds. Because Google Play processes every purchase, refund requests are handled through Google Play's refund process (see Google Play Help, "Get refunds on Google Play"). We do not process payments or issue refunds directly, but you can email us if you need help.

In-game coins and rewards. Coins, stars, and other in-game items earned or unlocked in the Games have no cash value. They cannot be sold, transferred, or exchanged for money or anything of monetary value, and they are not property of the player.

No ads. The Games do not show advertising of any kind.

4. Children's privacy (COPPA)

Our Games are designed for children, and we take the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the Federal Trade Commission's COPPA Rule, including its 2025 updates, seriously. Because the Games do not collect personal information from children, there is nothing for us to request parental consent for, share, sell, use for targeted advertising, or keep. We do not disclose children's information to third parties for any purpose. If we ever want to change this, we will update this policy first and, where the law requires it, get verifiable parental consent before collecting anything.

Our Games follow the Google Play Families Policy. The information in this policy matches what we report in our Google Play data safety section: no data collected and no data shared.

5. Our Website

Our Website is an information page about our studio and Games. It has no sign-ups, accounts, or forms that collect personal information. Like almost all websites, the company that hosts our site may automatically keep standard server logs (for example, IP address, browser type, pages requested, and the date and time) for security and to keep the site running. We do not use these logs to identify or track visitors, and we do not combine them with other information. The Website does not use tracking or advertising cookies, analytics, or ad networks, and we do not sell or share visitor information.

The Website may link to other sites, such as Google Play. Those sites have their own privacy policies.

6. If you email us

If you choose to email us, we will receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to answer you and delete it when it is no longer needed. If we learn that a child has emailed us, we will use the email address only to reply once (or to reach a parent, as COPPA allows) and then delete it. We do not add anyone to mailing lists.

7. Sale and sharing of information

We do not sell personal information, share it for targeted advertising, or use it for profiling. This applies to everyone, including under U.S. state privacy laws such as the Tennessee Information Protection Act.

8. Your rights and parental rights

Parents and guardians can ask us at any time what information we hold about their child, ask us to delete it, or tell us not to collect any more. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, delete, or get a copy of your personal information, or to opt out of sales or targeted advertising. Because our Games collect nothing, we usually will not have any information to provide. We will still answer every request, at no cost, and we will not treat you differently for making one. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our answer, and we will respond within the time the law requires.

9. Security

Keeping data off our servers is our main protection: we cannot lose what we do not collect. We use reasonable safeguards for anything we do receive, such as emails sent to us.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change would let us collect personal information from children, we will make that clear and get verifiable parental consent first where the law requires it.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the Games and the Website are provided "as is," and Wren Petal Studios LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from their use. Nothing in this policy limits any right you have that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your privacy rights described above. This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee and applicable U.S. federal law.
